Bath

Saturday, January 30th I left early in the morning with a group of International Students to head to the city of Bath. It was built in the 18th century and started off as a Roman City. A lot of the buildings today are built of 'Bath' stone. We passed by stonehenge on our way there. At the city Tripp and I went on a tour of the Roman Baths early when there wasn't really a line. We passed by it later in the day and the line wrapped around the building. The Roman Baths (where the city got its name) were incredible! And yes I did touch the water before realizing there was a do not touch sign, but the water is indeed really warm. After our tour we met up with more international students and went to see the Botanical Gardens, which were gorgeous and the squirrels are quite friendly. Then Tripp and I went to Abbey Cathedral and explored it's amazing architecture. We also got a taste of the cities wonderful food. It was a nice full day of adventures!

We passed Stonehenge on our way to Bath.

Standing in line to see the Roman Baths, guess they don't have a gum tree.

The Start

So it looks like steam over the water, but it's not. It is actually particles that are being released from the water when it reacts the surface.

There used to be a floor on top of these brick squares.

Gotta get that selfie

This was the do not touch sign that I didn't see

I really like the framing of this photo.

The buildings here are just amazing.

The lawns these side by side houses have.

These flowers are so beautiful

The group!
